John Thomas Steelman

Hymera, IN John Thomas Steelman, 78 of Hymera, went home to be with his Jesus on Sunday , June 1, 2014, in his residence, while preparing for Sunday Services at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera. He was born July 31, 1935 in Jacksonville, TN to Floyd and Rosie Dyer Steelman. Survivors include a daughter Geneva Collins, sons John Mark Steelman and Timothy David Steelman, sisters Vera Jordan and Rosie Simmons, a brother Leonard Steelman, and 4 grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, June7, 2014, in his church at 1:00pm, with Pastor James Quick officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am until time of service. Interment will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
