J ohnny Dean Bogard has left this world and gone on to his reward. He had a challenging childhood and youth. He was a "Wild Child" from Merom, known to quite a few folks for his antics as a teen and young adult. However as he got older and learned of the grace and love offered by God our Father through Jesus Christ, Johnny's focus in life changed. His greatest desire was to love others and be as Christ-like as he could. He was well-aware of his shortcomings and failures, but he continued to "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling." He was a fine man, a wonderful friend & husband, a loving father & grandfather, and a caring brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. His most cherished title, however, was Christian. Johnny whole- heartedly attemped to honor God with his life; he will be sorely missed.
