Judith Kay Ford Parks, 85, Georgetown, In, was born in Sullivan to Ralph and Lucille Ford. She was a member of Sullivan High School class of 1955. After graduation she attended Union School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse for 42 years. She ended her career as a traveling nurse which she loved. She alway had a story to tell about her nursing experiences.
She was a loving Sister, Mother, Nana, and Great Nana. Everyone knew of her as Nana Judy. She touched many people’s lives in many ways. She loved her church family at Greenville Christian Church. She was always doing meals and feeding her friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Her sisters Betty Brown and Sandy Yates.
She is survived by her loving children Bret Dye, Scott Parks, and Kristal Hale, a sister Sue Lang, her grandchildren Dani Dye, Micki Dye, Jessica Parks, Parker Hale, Will Hale, and Gracie Hale. She was blessed to know her great grandchildren Riley Hale, Colter Hale, Josie Parks, Brently Bates, Breelee Bates, Micah Bates, Carson Daniel, and Ellie Mae Bates. Also her daughter in-laws Heather Dye and Miranda Parks.
Visitation will be held at Holmes Memorial Chapel on Saturday November 18, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Services will take place at Center Ridge Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Section G, with Pastor Bobby Marcum officiating.
