Julie graduated from Sullivan High School in 1982 and went on to Indiana University where she graduated in 1986 with a degree in Elementary Education. She was a lifelong sports fan. Julie lived a very full life. Had a wicked sense of humor like no other. She loved her family and friends immensely. If you were a part of her world, you could feel the light that she would shine on you.
She was a very competitive poker player, always enjoyed that competition. She played in a dart league for many years with her daughters and friends. They all have many countless memories from those years.
She could find more mushrooms than anyone, loved to share them, and looked forward to the season annually. She also enjoyed traveling and looked forward to planning her next trip. Anywhere that included a beach was always her favorite destination.
Julie spent many years as a Developmental therapist through First Steps. She touched so many lives. Many parents and children stay in contact with her even today.
Julie was very generous, never complained or asked for anything. She certainly gave so much more to this life than she took. She faced each new battle with so much strength and courage. She will be very missed by all those who loved her.
