Karen (Ridge) Brunso

Karen Nell (Smith) Ridge Brunso, 78, passed away on January 30, 2019 at Signature Health Care in Terre Haute. She was born in Sullivan County on November 28, 1940 to Cecil Smith and Margaret (Magill) Smith. She was a 1958 graduate of Sullivan High School. She had attended Crossroads Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ann Smith and her husband John Brunso.

Survivors include her sons Tom (Susan) Ridge, Danny (Lisa) Ridge, daughter Lisa (Grant) Bryant, her first husband Gary Ridge, a sister Sara Wright. She was the proud grandmother of Dave (Kelly) Ridge, Scott Ridge (Kaylee Lankhaar), Jed (Brittnee) Smith, Justin (Jackie) Ridge and Jake (Jaleigh) Smith. She was the proud great-grandmother of Grace Ridge, Emma Ridge, Aubrey Ridge, Jaklee Smith, Jax Smith, Caroline Conroy and Milo Smith and several other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Crossroads Community Church with Pastor Dave Lisman officiating. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Father's Arms.
