She found joy in crafting, playing games, camping, and, above all, spending time with her family. Her faith was an important part of her life, and although she didn’t have a current church, she carried that spirit into the way she cared for others, especially through her advocacy for helping children and families in need.
Her family was at the center of her life. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Gott; her daughters, Lindsey Gott (John), and Leslie Gott; and her step-children, Trindle Gott and Tony Gott. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Damien, Ariah, Isabel, Ian, and Liam, who brought great happiness to her life. As well as step-grandchildren, Tony Peterson, Eugene Gott, Trenton Gott and Shanice Gott. Kathy is also survived by her brother, Dink Schofield(Cathy), and by her sisters, Linda Steele(Gary), Judy Enstrom, Sandy Ashby(Richard), Jackie Dollahan(Al), and Lori Padgett(Brian); as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Each of them shared in the love, laughter, and generous spirit that Kathy gave so freely.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and June (Blevins) Schofield, and by her brothers, Baby Joe Schofield, Eldon Schofield, Randy Schofield, nephews Rick Enstrom and Duke Schofield. Their memories remained a lasting part of her life and story.
