Katy Louise Cole Tomey

Katy Louise Cole Tomey, 36, of Hymera went home to be with the Lord on Friday November 14, 2014. She was born on October 14, 1978, in Sullivan to Jack and Margaret Jane Swiger Cole. She was a very loving and compassionate wife, mother, daughter and sister. Katy lived a simple life and loved her family dearly. She is an angel in heaven now watching over her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Jane Cole, her brother Jackie Cole and nephew Jeffery Alan Cole.

Survivors include her loving husband of ten years, John Tomey of Hymera, whom she married on February 14, 2004, one daughter Abbigail Cole Tomey of Hymera, one step son, Matthew Tomey of Sullivan, her father Jack M. Cole of Hymera, three sisters, Janie (Bob) Maxwell, Melissa (Doug) Wade, Joanna (James) Turner; one sister in-law Judy Cole, nephews Maxwell Andrew (Brooke) Turner, Cody Wade, Bob Wade , Christopher Wade, nieces Kimberly (Shane) Hasemen, Christina Wade, all of Hymera.

Services will be Wednesday, November 19th at 2:00pm at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera with Pastor James Quick officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00pm at the church. Interment will be in Knights of Pythius Cemetery in Hymera. Holmes Memorial Chapel assisted with funeral arrangements.
