Kenneth Carl Bolinger, 91, of Farmersburg, was welcomed into the eternal presence of Jesus on Monday, June 1, 2026. Born on January 24,1935, in Shelburn, Indiana, he was one of nine children born to the late Roy and Maggie Bolinger. Kenneth was a graduate of Shelburn High School. Following graduation, he married his loving life partner, the late Shirley Ann Graves, on December 16,1955 .
A dedicated professional, Kenneth retired from Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company after 30 years of service. His life was centered on his family and his faith. As a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Shelburn, he served with distinction as the church's first Elder.
Kenneth was known for his warm, pleasant, and jovial personality. He possessed the heart of a servant, truly loved people, and earned the respect and trust of many. Over the years, he served as a willing listener and offered wise counsel to those around him. His family was his greatest treasure; the memories they shared and the example he set remain a lasting legacy in their hearts.
Those anxiously awaiting his heavenly arrival were his parents, his loving wife, Shirley Bolinger; daughter, Debby Bolinger; brothers, Gerald, Garland, Holly, Roy, Rex, and Nick Bolinger along with a sister, Reba Coggin.
Those here to cherish his memory are his children, Jay Bolinger, Pam Lane (Mark), Geri Freeman (Kirk) and, bonus son, Luis Guzman (Marcella); grandchildren, Joshua Lane (Alison), Anna Barcus (Tim), Kyle Lane (Erin), Kelsey Lane, Maria Lane, Nola Lane and Trey Bolinger, Jared, Caleb, Jonah and Jillian Freeman; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Dee Bolinger; special friend, Rosemary Burnett along with several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
