Kenny Pugh passed onto eternal life with the comfort of his loved ones on August, 1, 2024. Kenny was born May 29, 1937 in Sullivan County to Damon Pugh and Doris (Harris) Pugh. He is survived by his daughter Glyna Humm (and Rob) of Chelsea, Alabama, a son William (Billy) Pugh (and Beth) of Chelsea, Alabama, four grandchildren Parker, Nathan, Laine, and Emilee. Also, a sister Shirley Thomson of Walnut Creek, California. He is preceded in death by his wife Janice (Southwood) Pugh, a son Kenneth (KD) Pugh of Shelburn, and a brother Glenn Pugh of Vandalia, Illinois

Kenny attended Purdue University, as well as Indiana State and Almeda Universities, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He was a participant in the US Air Force ROTC program, and a selected candidate for the US Air Force aviation cadet program. Also, in his earlier years loved playing the trumpet and the piano, and competing in basketball. He also participated in county and state livestock judging, as well as state and national land judging competitions.

In his work career of over forty years, Ken was an IBM data processing equipment operator and programmer for Allis Chalmers Manufacturing Company and Columbia Records Corporation before joining Powered Equipment Company as a Sales Trainee and later Manager of Inside Sales. Lastly he was Co-owner and Vice President of Hydro Power Inc. an industrial equipment supply firm with locations in Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Ft Wayne, and Evansville. He was also an accomplished equities investor, airplane pilot, and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. He attended the First Baptist Church of Shelburn and was a forty year plus member of the Sullivan Elks Lodge 911.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 3, 2024, at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Don Ransford officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg.
