Sullivan,
Larry G. Rinard, 74, of Sullivan passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. He was born in Sullivan County on June 14, 1941 to Beryl Rinard and Agnes McClure Rinard. Larry was a 1959 graduate of Sullivan High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Sullivan. He retired from the Terre Haute Federal Prison as a correctional officer and also drove a fuel truck for McKinley Petroleum. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lenny and Denny Rinard.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Bonnie L Robinson Rinard whom he married on November 25, 1964, a son Everett and companion Amy Norris of Sullivan, a daughter Tammy and her husband Mark Montgomery of Louisville, two brothers Charles (Terri) Rinard of Poulsbo, Washington, Robert (Ann) Rinard of Moores Hill IN, two sisters Patricia Mason of Sullivan, Sandra (Tom) Lowry of Sullivan, six grandchildren, Jessica Montgomery, Eric Montgomery, Kendra (Kolt) Schutz, Trenton (Ashley) Rinard, Kyle Rinard, Austin Rinard, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Larry will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ron Riggs officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 until the time of services. Burial will take place at Center Ridge Cemetery. He was an Army veteran. Military services will be given by the Hymera, Shelburn and Sullivan American Legion's and the Sullivan VFW.
