Leora Marjorie Engle

Leora Marjorie (McKinley) Snell Engle 95, of Pleasantville, and formerly of Sullivan, passed away on October 13, 2014 at her home. She was born on May 17, 1919, in Redkey IN to Emerson and Olive (Whitesell) McKinley. She was a 1937 graduate of Dunkirk High School. She was an avid square dancer and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Richard F. Snell in 1985, her second husband Max Engle in 1996 and a son Richard L. Snell in 1984.

Survivors include her daughter Nancy (Larry Sr.) Lawrence of Fortville, a stepson Terry Eugene (Connie) Engle of Indianapolis, six grandchildren Larry (Robin) Lawrence II, Michelle Danielson, Jason (Louann) Lawrence, Jennifer Snell, Jessica Snell, Step grandchildren Scott Engle and Amber Engle, several great and great, great grandchildren.

Services for Leora will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 15, 2014 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Coffman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
