Lera Maxine McClure, 95, of Shelburn, passed away on Thursday December 4, 2014 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born on July 6, 1919, in Sullivan to Hosea and Emma (Houser) Black. She was a member of the Shelburn United Methodist Church, a loving mother, grandmother who cherished her family, enjoyed playing bingo and word search. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Estil in September 1990.
Survivors include her sons Don (Patty) McClure of Shelburn, Marvin (Mary) McClure of Shelburn, step daughter Toni Bolinger , a sister Lucille Wise of Jasonville, grandchildren Tracy Thompson, Kara Elkins, Mike McClure , Dereck McClure and Troy McClure, and 11 great-grandchildren
Services for Lera will be at 1:00p.m on Monday December 8, 2014 at Little Flock Cemetery with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Services have entrusted to Holmes Memorial Chapel.
