Linda Jean Boyll, 72, of Farmersburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice. Linda was born on November 14, 1949, in Terre Haute, to Russell Henderson and Anna (Dean) Henderson. Linda was a 1968 graduate of Gerstmeyer High School, and had became a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda loved to bake cookies, and enjoyed the cardinals and her hummingbirds. She was famous for her party mix but the most important things in her life was her family, her prayer life and her involvement in the Friendship Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Dwight Alan Boyll, a brother Dennis Henderson Sr., sister Sharon Stringer, brother in-laws Danny Hargis, Larry Reece, Walt Stringer, Chick Davis.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Dwight Boyll, whom she married on July 29, 1973, her daughters, Misty (Dennis) Bolinger, Christy (Kyle) Brindley, brothers Steven Henderson Sr., Jimmy (Cecile) Henderson, sisters, Ellen Davis, Carrol Hargis, Mary Ann (Roy) Chapman, Donna Reece, sister in-law Judy England, grandchildren, Maddi Bolinger, Lylli Brindley, Enoch Brindley, Tray Brindley, several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 15, 2022, at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Larger officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery.
