Lisa Marie Anderson

Lisa Marie Anderson, 53, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2016, peacefully passing in her sleep following an extensive illness. She was an avid gardener, music lover, and a poet. She lived for her daughter Paige and Grandson Jonah. She was born September 21, 1962, to Lester and Wilma Anderson, in Vincennes. Survivors include her father, Lester Anderson and stepmother Irene Anderson of Carlisle; two daughters, Paige Marie Murphy, of Sullivan, and Myra Shuman (Jeremy) of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Jonah Murphy of Sullivan, and a granddaughter Eleanor Shuman of Denver; a sister, Melinda Sutphin, of Carlisle; a stepbrother, Brian J. Todd (Michelle) of Hazel Green, AL; a step-grandmother, Joy Walls of Vincennes; and her best friend, Robert Flott of Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma Anderson. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday July 29,2016 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Harry McDonald officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Walker Cemetery.
