Louella Jean Zaayer

Louella Jean Zaayer 83 of Sullivan passed away at 11:25p.m., January 11, 2015 in Sullivan County Community Hospital. She was born on October 11, 1931 in Sullivan to Leonard Tarrh Sr. and Vaneda Southwood Tarrh. Survivors include a daughter Connie (Ed) Hays of Sullivan, a brother Bob (Betty) Tarrh of Shelburn, grandchildren Jennifer (Brandon) Gibbs, Kevin Hays, Daniel Zaayer all of Sullivan, Melissa Zaayer of Terre Haute, Clinton (Alicia) Zaayer of Burbank, CA., and great-grandchildren Zackary and Alexa Gibbs and Bristol Hays, a daughter in-law Mary Ann (Jay) Ferguson. Those preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Paul Zaayer, a son Larry Zaayer, a brother Leonard "Junior" Tarrh, and a sister Thelma Wagner. Louella was a member of Sullivan 1st United Methodist Church. Visitation for Louella will be Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Holmes Memorial Chapel from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Services will be on Thursday, January, 15, 2015 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Reverend Ben Cassiday officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery. The family suggest in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Sullivan 1st United Methodist Church.
