Louise Flath

Louise Flath, 68, of Sullivan, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She was born March 15, 1949 in Franklin, Indiana to Kenneth and Ellen Noel Bay. Louise was a 1967 graduate of Franklin High School, retired correctional officer, former cook at Sullivan County Community Hospital and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sullivan. Louise enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting blankets for family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred, sisters, Patsy, Jeanette, Shirley, and Faye, brothers, Kenneth, and Robert.

She is survived by her son, Steve (Crystal) of Sullivan, grandchildren Ben and Bailey, siblings, Linda, Buzz, Martha, Cotton, and Rachel, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 19 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Unger officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
