Lucille Wise

Lucille Wise, 99, of Shelburn passed away at 9:04pm at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, in Jasonville, on March 31, 2015. Lucille was born April 23, 1915 in Sullivan County to Hosea Black and Emma Houser Black. She is survived by a daughter Thelma Vanhorn of Jasonville, a daughter in-law Kathy Wise of Cleveland TN, and eleven grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Raymond, sons John and Ron Wise, brothers Paul, Bob, Richard, Russell and Leon Black, sister Lera McClure, a grandson Ronnie Wise II, great-grandson Jordan Wise and a great-great- grandson Isaac Wise. She was a member of the Church of God. Services will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 1:00pm at Holmes Memorial Chapel, in Sullivan, with Rev. Jonathon Heard officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery, in Shelburn. On line condolences may be made at www.holmesmemorialchapel.com.
