Lynetta Jane Meier

Lynetta Jane Meier, 56, Sullivan, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014, at her home. She was a resident of Sullivan. Lynetta was born on March 30, 1957 in Sullivan County and graduated from North Central High School in 1975. On February 9, 2001, she married Tim Meier, the love of her life, who survives her. Lynetta is also survived by her parents, Richard and Carol Hall of Farmersburg; her sisters, Rhoda Hall and Jackie Chapman both of Sullivan; her step-daughter, Cassie Followel, and step-grandson, Cayden Followel of Sullivan; her son, Callen Spatz of Lafayette, and her daughters, Whitney Spatz and Chandra Atkinson of Los Angeles. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and loving friends. Visiting hours for Lynetta will be Monday, January 13, from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11:00a.m. also at Holmes Memorial. Lynetta passed away from ALS, also known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease."
