Lynne Loree Akers

Lynne Loree Fusco Akers, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, October 26, 2025. She began her journey in life on January 20,1960 in Hendricks County Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Carol Rudisel Fusco. Lynne was a graduate of South High School and continued her education obtaining her nursing degree. She married her loving husband Terry Akers, on November 7, 1981. She enjoyed shopping and was an avid dog lover. Most important to her were her family. She loved being a Wife, Mom and most importantly, Mamaw.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Dawna Arthur.

Those here to cherish her memory are her parents, Charles and Carol Fusco; husband, Terry Lee Akers; children, Aimee Delph (Chris) and Josh Akers; siblings, Jim Fusco (Carole) and Cheryl Fogel (Bill); grandchildren, Kayla Rudisel, Maddie Taggart, Braxton, Caleb and Joshua Jr. Akers along with many extended family and friends.

Private services were held at an earlier date.

Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
