Madonna Rose Kerns, 94, of Hymera, passed into the sweet eternity of Heaven on July 7,2025 at Union Hospital. Madonna began her life journey in Paris, Illinois. She was a graduate of State Laboratory High School, class of 1948. She lived a long, fulfilled life that was dedicated to God and her family, and took great pride in her family. She attended the Hymera First Baptist Church. Her kind and gentle demeanor was evident to all who knew her. Her memory is forever etched in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is preceded by her parents and husband along with 2 sons and 2 sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Timothy and Donna Kerns, David Goffinet, Mark Goffinet and Debra and David Rottmann; 13 grandchildren along with 16 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; brother, John Cummins along with several neices and nephews.
Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
