Marailyn Sue Mccammon

Marilyn Sue McCammon, 64, of Terre Haute died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Norton Health Care Pavilion in Louisville, KY. The 1960 graduate of Sullivan High School was born September 27, 1942 in Sullivan to Frank Pirtle and Roena Reisner Pirtle. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Lloyd Pirtle.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years Jim McCammon of Terre Haute whom she married July 19, 1961, two daughters Melissa Nance and her husband Mark of Jeffersonville and Melanie Minteer of Louisville, KY, four brothers Morris Pirtle of Moore Haven, FL, Ron Pirtle of Shelburn, Don Pirtle of Plainfield and Ned Pirtle of Lafayette, LA, two grandchildren Zachary Nance and Victoria Minteer and other relatives.

Services were at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan. Rev. David Cox officiated. Burial was in the Westlawn Cemetery at Farmersburg. Pallbearers were Jeff Pirtle, Doug Pirtle, Mark Nance, Kyle Pirtle, Anthony Craig and Gary Keeney.
