Margaret Jo Francis

Margaret Jo Stranahan Francis, 38, of Shelburn passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 15, 2014. She was born in Vigo County on November 15, 1975 to Fred and Sally (Robinson) Stranahan. She attended North Central High School, had accepted Jesus Christ as her savior, and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Shelburn.

Survivors include her parents, companion Bill Francis, two brothers James and Ronald "Pete" Stranahan, daughter Erica Jo Turner, sons Riley McConnell, Evan McConnell, Freddie Carpenter, Billy Francis, a grandson Carson Arnold, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 19, 2014 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Billy Steins officiating. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at Center Ridge Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions will be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
