Margie (Greene) Hall

Margie Hall 95, of Sullivan, slipped peacefully into the glorious, eternal presence of Jesus, on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Cobblestone Crossing. She was born on September 28, 1929, in Spencer County Indiana, to Claude and Odie Moore Green.  Margie was a 1947 graduate of Chrisney High School. Margie met and married Paul Hall shortly after graduation. They were blessed with raising 3 daughters and lovingly enjoying 7 grandchildren.

She was a devoted and dedicated member of Shiloh Church of Christ. Her deep faith and unwavering love of God was shown in her everyday life. She was employed with North American Latex for many years. After Latex, she was busy with her upholstery shop.

She grew up in a farming family and enjoyed working the fields. She chose working in the fields over learning her way around the kitchen. She was always busy, never idle, she enjoyed her vegetable garden, planting flowers, riding motorcycles with her late husband, going on trips with First Financial Bank and camping. She was an excellent seamstress; she took great pride in sewing her daughters clothing and wedding dresses.

She is preceded by her parents and husband, Paul Hall.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Paula Hodge (Robert) of Evansville, Kathy  Noble-Puckett (Jim) of Columbus and Donna Kendall (Randy) of Clinton; grandchildren, Krysta Hayes, Kara Simmons, Seth Noble, Shannon Kraft, Robin Bass, Devan Thacker and Briana Stevenson, along with 14 great grandchildren.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Holmes Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Visitation will be from 11:00 am. until time of service at 1:00 pm. Brother Buford Smith will be officiating.  The family respectfully request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to, Shiloh Church of Christ 3521 E. State Road 54, Sullivan IN. 47882.

Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery.
