Margie Lou Wells, 87, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Hymera, IN passed away, in the company of her family, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute at 7:02pm, on February 7, 2016. Margie was born January 6, 1929, in Hymera, to Harry Beasley and Barbara Stevens Beasley. She was married for 66 years to the love of her life, Ernest Lee Wells, who passed away January 10, 2014. Margie was a 1947 graduate of Hymera High School, and had worked for Pfizer and First Farmers Bank.
Survivors include sons Richard L Wells (Kathy) of Mooresville and Gregg Wells (Sandi), of Farmersburg, grandchildren Lori, Todd, Tim, Todd, Scott, Tracy, Carrie, Tricia, and Heather, and 14 great- grandchildren. She was a member of the Hymera Chapter Order of Eastern Stars. Casket bearers will be Scott Wells, Nolan Kinnett, Bret Andrew, Kenzith Andrew, Scott McCoskey, and Mia McCoskey. Visitation for Margie will be Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm in Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan. Rev. Mike Julian will be officiating with interment following in Knight of Pythius in Hymera.
