Marilyn R. Mellon left this earthly life on November 30, 2025 at Brookview Care Center in Indianapolis. She began her life journey on May 2,1947 in Terre Haute, Indiana. The daughter of the late John C. and Rosella Holaday Mellon. Following graduation she was a dedicated employee with Columbia Enamel, until her retirement. Marilyn loved time spent visiting with family and friends. Her true passion was enjoying the company of her nieces and nephews.

Preceding her are her parents, John and Rosella Mellon; brothers, Patrick and Robert Mellon.

Surviving her are a brother, Thomas Michael Mellon (Mary), along with a sister, Peggy Joyce Baker (Randy); nieces, Beth Mong, Kimberly Hamilton and Rebecca Warrick; nephew, John Mellon, along with several great nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
