Marion Dink Criss

Marion "Dink" Criss, 90 of Carlisle passed away on July 18, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor. He was born on May 1, 1928 in Davies County to John Criss and Alma Florene (Thompson) Criss. He was a farmer and had worked in construction. Dink had previously attended the Merom Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing, reading, old western shows and listening to old country music. Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Mary (Gray) Criss, brothers Matthew and Kenny Criss, and a sister Betty Wills.

Survivors include a son Steven Criss of Robinson IL, daughters, Karen Wright of Carlisle, Shirley Plowman of Merom, brother, Joseph (Sandy) Criss, Merom, sister, Debbie Okes of Graysville, eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00p.m. on Monday July 23, 2018 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Cox Officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00a.m. until the time of services. Military services will be given by the Hymera, Shelburn, Sullivan American Legion's, and the Sullivan VFW. Burial will be in Merom Cemetery.
