Mark Jackson

Mark D. Jackson, 58 of Paxton, Indiana, went to be with Lord surrounded by his family on December 15, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Georgia on July 23, 1966. The son of Bernard Jackson and Katherine (Kitty Jo) Figg.

Mark was a dedicated brother, husband, father, papaw, great-papaw and friend.

Mark was a hardworking, devoted provider for his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mark was a longtime truck driver for Darlington Ingredients of Newberry Indiana. Mark loved spending his free time during harvest season at Eden Valley Farms, Carlisle, Indiana. Spending his days with his brother Michael, cooking and BBQing and playing with his beloved 4-legged kid, Ally.

Mark is preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Jamie L. Jackson; father and mother; brothers Gordon and Timothy Jackson.

Survivors include his two daughters, Kimberly Williams (Brandon) of Carlisle, Indiana, Alicia Hiatt (Raymond) of New Lebanon, Indiana; 5 granddaughters, Hailey Salyer (Trenton), Mariyah Parker, Deziray Hiatt, Reagan Butler and Amiela Hiatt. Two great-grandchildren, Riverlynn and Kaison; brothers, Buster Jackson (Amy), Michael Jackson and sister, Lea Ann Hancock (John) along with his girlfriend, Lolita Ethridge and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Holmes Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with visitation from 11:00 am. until time of service at 1:00 pm. Minister James Salyer and Brandon Williams will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodward Cemetery, Dugger Indiana.
