Marklin Scott

Marklin Scott, 71, of Sullivan passed away on June 2, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 13, 1947 to Robert Scott and Alice (McCammon) Cox. Marklin retired from the United States Navy and also from the Indianapolis Fire Department. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a daughter Jennifer Scott and son, Jason Scott, brother Luke Scott, grandchildren Jordan Johnson Capia, Olivia Scott Buskirk, Andrew Scott, Camryn Johnson, and Weston Smith, and great grandchildren Anniston Capia, Brooklyn Capia, Charlotte Capia and Teagan Buskirk. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Military rites will be given by Sullivan, Shelburn, and Hymera Legion Posts and Sullivan VFW.
