Marty Ray Taylor, 65, was born January 16, 1961, in Exeter, California, to Harlin D. Taylor and Wanda L. (McGill) Taylor.

He passed away October 15, 2026, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana, and was reunited with the love of his life, Anita "Woman" (Morrison) Taylor.

Marty was loved dearly and will be missed every day. There wasn't anything he couldn't cook or grow. He loved to feed people and make things from scratch.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita; his father, Harlin D. Taylor; three young nieces, Shalyn, LaShae and Mariah; and brothers-in-law, Robert Belcher, Virgil Bass and Richard "John" Ashby.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, TeAnn, and two sons, Nathan and Brian; grandchildren, Aubree, Jacob, Little Brian and Abbi; siblings, Tina Ashby, Sherry Belcher, Deanna (Kevin) Phillippe and Kevin (Jamie) Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom he loved unconditionally.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Holmes Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place at Little Flock Cemetery immediately following.
