Mary Louise Crist

Hymera, Mary Louise Baker Crist, 67, of Hymera passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014. She was born in Albany KY, on January 17, 1947 to Ustis and Myrtie (Brumley) Brown. She was a member of the Hymera Independent Community Church. Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers, James Brown, Billy Brown, Clarence Brown, Lawrence Brown and Willie Brown, a sister Margie Brown, and a grandchild Cheyenne Mulkins and special friend Jim Pratt. Survivors include her loving husband Clarence Crist of Hymera, her children Peggy Raymer of Hymera, Carissa Swalls (David) of Hymera, Kesia Hiler (Clare) of Cartersville GA, Kevin Pickett (Christina) of Marietta GA, two sisters Marie McClain, Geraldine Baggett both of Brocton IL, grandchildren John Raymer of Paris, Jacob Sigler (Amy) of Charleston IL, Cherina Alexander (Ryan) of Chrisman IL, Carina Goddard of Shelburn IN, Tabitha Keene (Truss) of Hymera, Makenzie Swalls Lyons IN, Tory Swalls, of Hymera, Ashley Swalls of Hymera, Bradan Spencer of Hymera, twenty-seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Mary Lou enjoyed time with her family, always having a smile on her face when spending time with her babies. She is the rock of the family. She enjoyed hosting family dinners and birthday parties, but needed no excuse to have her family around her and together. Services for Mary Lou will be at 3:00 p.m. at the Hymera Independent Community Church with Rev. David K. Swalls officiating. Visitation will be at the Church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilfred IN. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
