Mary Beth McKinley, passed away September 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Beth was born October 10, 1953 in Sullivan, Indiana to her loving parents, Jack B and Mary Ann Kaufman Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Beth is survived by her loving husband Mike, and her wonderful family: her mother, her son Jeff (and Natalie) and daughter Sarah McKinley, Grandsons Carter Wade, and Maxton McKinley and granddaughter Carson Wade. Her sister Jacklyn Johnson (and Tom) and brother Tom Smith (and Janice) all of Sullivan, along with special aunt, Janis Sevier, nephews, nieces and cousins, and her God Mother, Mary Ann Harris.

Beth graduated with the class of 1971, from Sullivan High School. She attended Indiana University before marrying her high school sweetheart on May 5th, 1972. She worked for the Southwest School Corp for many years as the Elementary School Librarian. Beth always felt so very blessed to have so many loving friends that she had shared her life with.

Mass of Cristian Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sullivan, on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at 11:00a.m. with Fr Jeff Read officiating. Visitation will be at the Church from 9:00a.m. until the time of Mass. Her ashes will be buried at Center Ridge cemetery. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Mary's Church or the Southwest Sullivan Elementary School Corporation - Library. Envelopes will be available at the Church.
