Mary Lee Price

Mary Lee Price, 86, passed away on March 26, 2018 at her daughter Georgia's residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Carlisle on December 7, 1931 to Claude Lee Griffith and Ida (Hamm) Griffith. She married Rev. George Price on July 9, 1949 and spent most of her life being a homemaker to her husband and children. Mary Lee was a member of the United Methodist Church in Carlisle, a volunteer and participant at the Carlisle Senior Center. Mary Lee was famous for her homemade pies. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband who died in 1989.

Surviving members of the family are sons; Lonnie Price (Noni) and Corey Price (Brittany), daughters; Georgia Cagle (Raymond Lisman), and Lynne Price and a brother Murray David Griffith (Beverly), 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mary Lee will be on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the United Methodist Church in Carlisle with Rev. Adrienne Greene officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
