Mary Susan "Sue" (Graves) Monk

Mary Susan Graves Monk, 68, of  Terre Haute, took her place in the Heavenly choir, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Gibson Family Center. Sue began her journey in life on May 12, 1956 in Sullivan, born to Garold Graves and Martha Graves McCammon.

Sue was a member of the graduating class of 1974. She was a long time member of Sullivan First Baptist Church.She loved sharing her angelic voice both in church and the school choir.  She was employed with General Telephone and later Hoosier Energy.

Her father precedes her, Garold Graves.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Martha Graves McCammon and her husband Paul; daughter, Jennifer Garrett and husband, Jack; grandchildren, Kierra Bond, Catherine Garrett and John Garrett; along with a great grandchild, Melody Thrasher; sisters, Becky Boone and husband, Tim and Beth Daugherty and husband, Bill.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Holmes Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Reverend Ron Riggs officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery.
