Maurice Lee Wible, 64, of Shelburn passed away on Sunday March 10, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Sullivan County on April 3, 1954, to Maurice Leroy Wible and Nina (Lynch) Wible. He was a 1972 Graduate of North Central High School. Lee was going to be inducted into the Football Hall of Fame at North Central High School on April 6, 2019. He enjoyed playing guitars and building them.
Survivors include his brothers Jim (Vikki) Wible of Sullivan, Ron (Sandy) Wible of Bloomington, sisters Lovinia (Billy Joe) Ferree of Sullivan, Laninta (Thomas David) Davis, of Spencer, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday March 15, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at little Flock Cemetery.
