Max Eugene Brand

Max Eugene Brand, 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 21, 2017. He was born in Clay County, Indiana on August 5, 1926 and married Dorothy Olene Fulk on December 11, 1948 in a candlelight ceremony in the First Methodist Church in Linton, IN. They lived in Bowling Green, IN and most recently Shelburn, IN. In addition to his family, he enjoyed his lifelong passion of farming, Nascar and his beloved beagle, Butchie. He will be fondly remembered and missed by many. He leaves behind his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Arminta (Doug) Inbody of Carmel, IN; son, Drew (Carol) Brand of Farmersburg, IN; granddaughter, Jessica (Brian) Lindvahl of Fishers, IN; grandson, Evan (Kylee) Brand of Shelburn, IN. He also leaves behind 5 great grandsons; Frederick Bryar, Max Ledger & Evan Sawyor Brand and Ryker & Davin Lindvahl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Raymond & Laura Alice (Smith) Brand and a brother, Forrest E. Brand.

Officiating at private chapel & graveside services was the Reverend Dick Smith of Shiloh Assembly of God. Interment was at the Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green in Clay County Indiana. Arrangements were handled by Holmes Memorial Chapel.
