Sullivan,
Max Andrew Miller, 85, of Sullivan passed away on Sunday July 5, 2015 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Union IN on January 16, 1930 to Lowrey Guy Miller and Mary Hudson Miller. Max was a 1948 graduate of Hymera High School, was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War and was a self-employed Real Estate Agent. He was involved in the Terre Haute Board of Realtors, Sullivan Elks, Rotary Club, Optimist Club, Sullivan American Legion for over 55 years, Republican National Committee, National Association of Realtor, and the First Baptist Church of Sullivan where he was very active, was an ordained Deacon and a long time Trustee. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Sam Hudson Miller, and Charles Loren Miller. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Wilma "Betty" Badders Miller whom he married on February 23, 1951, a son Michael (Melanie) Miller of Sullivan, a daughter Alisa (Rick) Risinger of Zionsville, a sister Mary Harris Broome of Longview TX, three granddaughters, Amy (Phil) Medley, Megan Miller, Malorie (BJ) Howard, and five great granddaughters. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday July 10, 2015 in Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ron Riggs Officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Military Grave Rites will be given by the Hymera, Shelburn and Sullivan American Legions and the Sullivan VFW. Burial will take place in Center Ridge Cemetery.
