Merilyn Brown

Merilyn Brown, 85, of Merom passed away in Millers Merry Manor on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.  She was born in Glen-St. Mary FL., to Josie Davis and Mary (Crews) Davis.  Merilyn was a 1954 graduate of Macclenny High School, and married Frank E. Brown on September 11, 1955.  She was a Secretary, a house wife, a loving mother, grandmother and a great grandmother.   She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Merom. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, a brother Coy Davis,  sisters Janice, and Joyce Herald.

Survivors include her sons Douglas Brown of PA, Gregory (Joy) Brown, of Merom, Stanley (Nancy) Brown of Sullivan, James (Sarah) Brown of Juno AK., daughters Susan Makovec of Smyrna Delaware, Jennifer (Michael) Pietras of FL., brothers James Davis, Morris Davis, Josie Davis, Richard Davis, Larry Davis, sisters Eteyle Charron, Clarice Tillman, Cherry Barber, 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 24, 2021, at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Raz Delagarza officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be at Merom Cemetery.
