Michael Gene Nash, 80, of Sullivan, passed into eternal rest on July 4, 2025 in the comfort of his home. He was born on November 29,1944 in Sullivan County to the late Arthur and Opal Watson Nash. Michael was a graduate of Carlisle High School, where he held the office of FFA Officer. He went on to be a Millwright with Local #325.

Michael was a devoted Husband, Dad and Pappy. He attended Terre Haute Bible Center, where his brother Pastor’s. His hobby was restoring and collecting old tractors, with his favorite being the Allis-Chalmers wd45’s. He was active with the Sullivan County 4 H Horse program. He also raised and raced quarter horses.

Michael was a man of few words, but his positive outlook on life was evident to all around him.

Those preceding him are his parents ; brother, Bill Nash (Lainey) and sister in-law, Jan Nash.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are, his wife, Karen Ann Nash; children, Bradley Nash (Jackie) of Sallisaw OK, Shelly Newton (Wally) of Sullivan, Elizabeth Thrasher (Kenny) of Sullivan, along with bonus children, Randy Lamb (Teresa) of Weeki Wachee, Florida, and Terri Lamb of Sullivan; brother, Jerry Nash; grandchildren, Mackenzie Hoffner (Aaron), Bailey Nash (Cheyanne), Conner Simmons, Taylor Thrasher (Blake), Kaleb Thrasher (Abbie) and Owen Lamb; great-grandchildren, Kate and Avery Hoffner, and Stetsyn Nash. The Mother of his children, Connie Nash Thompson, along with his four legged fur babies, Walker and Hunter.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the

Sullivan County 4H Board, in care of Alan Badger @ 1361 E. Co Rd 75 N.
