Michael Kenneth Witvoet

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael “Mike” Kenneth Witvoet (38)of Dugger IN, on Tuesday January 7th, 2025.

Michael was born on July 6th, 1986 to Tonja Sue Witvoet and Michael Hugo Witvoet (deceased) in Sullivan, IN.

Michael was an artistic person. He expressed his creativity through drawing and tattoos. Michael enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Michael was a fan of all things music, he loved to listen to Korn, Metallica, Grateful Dead and Tool to name a few.

Michael had an infectious laugh and mischievous smile that would catch your attention from a mile away. You may not have understood what he was saying but you had to laugh along with him. He loved all things unique and weird!

Michael is survived by his wife, Cami Witvoet, daughters Hyli (Dawson) Vennard, Lily Ila Jane Witvoet, sons, Kadin Witvoet, Ryker Witvoet, step sons, Jayden Murley, Kyle Lockard, Mother, Tonja Sue Witvoet, brothers, Ethan and Riley (Kelcie) Witvoet, Grandmothers, Sandra Rinard, Patricia Owings, Aunts, Stacey Criss, Corrie (Brad) Skinner, Uncles, Jon (Angel) Witvoet and Eddie Witvoet.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Michael Witvoet, son Ryland Witvoet, Grandfathers, Kenneth Criss, Richard Owings, Great Grandparents, Earl and Ruth Myers, Beryl and Agnes Rinard and his Aunt, Patty Ruth Witvoet Bedwell.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Westside Church, Sullivan, Indiana from 12:00 pm. until time of service at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Jason Jones officiating. Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
