Morris Goob Spencer

Morris "Goob" Spencer. 68, of Sullivan, passed away on August 27, 2018 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1950 in Sullivan County to Henry and Thelma (Drury) Spencer. Morris was a 1968 graduate of Sullivan High School, had been employed at the Sullivan County Co Op and the Indiana State Department of Corrections in Carlisle. Morris had attended the Abundant Grace of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jess Spencer, Gene Spencer, Roscoe Spencer, Don Spencer, sisters Lucy Scott Wanda Clark, and Bernadine Moore.
Survivors include his fiancé Joyce Dash, of Sullivan, daughters Tammy (Earl) Chandler of Kansas IL, Hallie (Justin) Gard of Sullivan, Kathy (Tony) Kassissieh a son Kevin Dash, a sister Ellen Spires of Carlisle, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece's nephews and other family.
Services for Morris will be at 7:00p.m. on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Eric Bush officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00p.m. until the time of services.
