Muriel June Thompson, 85, of Sullivan slipped into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday February 28, 2017. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Oella, MD to George Clements and Hazel (Burkert) Clements. She was a Homemaker and a lifelong member of the Assemblies of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Thompson, her three brothers Ronald Clements Sr, Wilmer Clements, and Phillip Clements, granddaughter Chantal "JoJo" Kimberlin and great grandson Wesley Jakob Thompson.
Survivors include her sons Chuck (Doris) Thompson of Graysville, Irving (Tammy) Thompson of Dodd Bridge, three daughters Sandy (John) Kinman of Danville, Cindy (Jay) Slater of Sullivan, and Marty Shott (Steve Warnick) of Shelburn. Grandchildren Keppy (Charles) Boone, Heather Falconbury, Jessie (Will) Adolf, Ashlee (Adam) Myers, Kristen (Matt) Burleson, Ryan Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Miranda (Cooper) Hofmann, Jackson Shott and 12 great grandchildren. Three brothers Delbert Clements, Maryland; Tom Clements Sr., South Carolina; and David Clements. Maryland and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 4, 2017 at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Bradley Ray Wood officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.
