Mike Owen Sprinkle, 71, of Carlisle passed away on Monday June 8, 2015 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born December 10, 1943 in Marco, IN to Ralph and Wilma Baker Sprinkle. Mike was a 1961 graduate of L&M High School in Lyons, IN., co-owner and operator of Sprinkle Elevator in Carlisle for over 30 years. He was a member of the Carlisle Odd Fellows, Carlisle Masonic Lodge #3 Free and Accepted Masons, the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, Volunteer of Sullivan County 4-H, and a member of the Shaker Prairie Christian Church. Mike loved tractor pulls and thoroughly enjoyed his Moline Tractor. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jo Ann Lester Sprinkle whom he married on April 24, 1966, a son Michael (Allison) Sprinkle of Pleasantview, two daughters Jane Sprinkle of Indianapolis, Amy Sprinkle of Sullivan, sisters Jo Ann Sprinkle Haines of Linton, Rita (Joe) Burgess of Linton, Susan (Warren) Shake of Linton, two grandchildren Owen Sprinkle, Maryn Sprinkle and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mike will be at 11:00am on Thursday June 11, 2015 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kirk Langston officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m... The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions made to the Sullivan County 4-H. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery
