Gladys Marie Robertson, 98, of Leesburg , FL and formerly of Sullivan and Carlisle died at 8:06 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2004 in Florida Hospital Waterman at Travares , FL. She was born October 18, 1906 in Bloomington to Fred Deiss and Ethel Robbins Deiss. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church . She was preceded in death by her husband Loran James "Jimmy" Robertson who died July 18, 1997 and her parents.

Survivors include one daughter Doris Sproatt and her husband Carl of Leesburg, FL, one granddaughter, Jody Rice and her husband Jeff of Columbus, OH, one great grandson Eric Rice and his wife Heidi of Cincinnati, OH, one great granddaughter Erin Rice of Milledgeville , GA , two great, great grandchildren Aidan and Alex and other relatives.

Services were at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2004 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jim Benefield officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery . Pallbearers were Eldon Dunford, Gerald McCammon, Darrell McCammon, Gene Brodie, Jeff Rice, Eric Rice and Jim Benefield.
