Mary Carrico, 90, of Vincennes and formerly of Carlisle and Sullivan died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Good Samaritan Hospital at Vincennes . She was born October 10, 1914 in Carlisle to Floyd "Shorty" Hamilton and Dora May Hamm Hamilton. She was a retired nurses aid at Millers Merry Manor and a member of the Followers of Jesus Christ Ministries Church at Evansville . She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Virgil Hamilton and one sister Edith Clark.
Survivors include one son David Carrico and his wife Donna of Evansville, one daughter Dianna Shepherd and her husband Gene of Sullivan, five grandchildren Tim Shepherd, Kevin Shepherd, Pam O'Brien, Gary Perkins and Carla Hancock, sixteen great grandchildren and other relatives.
Services were at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 in the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan. Pastor Doug Kirkham officiated. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Carlisle. Pallbearers were Gene Shepherd, Kevin Shepherd, Todd Shepherd, Keenan O'Brien, Virgil R. Hamilton and Keith O'Brien.
