Mildred Bell, 98, of Sullivan died at 7:25 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005 in Millers merry Manor. She was born October 10, 1906 in Sullivan to Harry Lewis and Ola Bogard Lewis. She was a homemaker and taught sewing at Vowell's Sewing Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church , the Sullivan Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and the Extension Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy three years Virgil C. Bell ho died November 29, 1997 , she was also preceded in death by two brothers Joe Lewis and Guy Lewis.

Survivors include one son James L. "Jim" Bell and his wife Deloris of Sullivan, one daughter Judith Rehmel and her husband Bob of Richmond, one brother Lloyd Lewis of Sullivan, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and other relatives. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005 in the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ron Riggs officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery . Pallbearers were Mike Bell, Shawn Rehmel, Keith Rehmel, Derek Rehmel, Aaron Rehmel and Bob Rehmel.
