Brenda Kay Fagin, 55, of Sullivan died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2005 in the Sullivan County Community Hospital . She was born January 9, 1950 in Sullivan to John William Wade and Doris Jean Brewer Wade. She was a former certified nurse assistant at the Sullivan Health and Living Center and a member of the New Beginnings Worship Center. She was preceded in death her parents and one brother Gail Wade.

Survivors include her husband Michael "Mike" Fagin of Sullivan, one son Johnny Tomey and his wife Katie of Sullivan, one brother John Wade and his wife Lori of Sullivan, four sisters Rita Tyler and her husband Jim of Weatherford, TX, Carol Wade of Jasonville, Diana Mitchell and her husband Jim of Shelburn and Mary Blanton and her husband Burl of NC, two grandchildren and other relatives.

Services were at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Sam McCord officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jason Wade, Derek Wade, Eric Wade, David Fagin, Mike McKain and Mark Fagin.
