Dolores Lorraine Snyder, 97, of Carlisle died at 3:25 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2005 in her residence. She was born January 15, 1907 in Carlisle to James M. Bowen and Minnie K. Jeter Bowen. She was a homemaker, a member of the Paxton United Methodist Church and a 1924 graduate of Carlisle High School. Her husband, Albert Snyder whom she married April 12, 1925 died in 1989, also preceding her in death was one son James "Jimmie" Snyder, one brother Donald Bowen and two sisters Maude E. Mason and Stella Jennings.

Survivors include one daughter Norma Lea Williams and her husband Emanuel "Mandy" of West Covina , CA , two grandchildren Mike Williams and Janet Garcia, one great grandchild Autumn Williams and nieces and nephews.

Services were at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan. Rev. David Cox officiated. Burial was in the Carlisle Odd Fellows Cemetery .
