Patrick "Pat" Smith, 52, of Sullivan died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at the Sullivan County Community Hospital . He was born May 9, 1953 in Sullivan to Gale Smith and Joan Godfrey Smith. The U.S. Navy veteran was an Electrician for the Logan Aluminum Company at Russellville , KY, a 1971 graduate of Sullivan High School and a member of the Sullivan Elks Club. He was a member of the First Christian Church and attended the Crossroads Community Church. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother of Sullivan, two sons Nick Smith of Terre Haute and Seth Smith of Russellville, three daughters Missy Allen and her husband Bill of Carlisle, Amanda McKinley of New York City and Courtney Smith of Terre Haute, one brother Michael B. Smith and his wife Rita of Sullivan, one sister Julie Walkup and her husband Bruce of Sullivan, four grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hammond and Rev. David Cox officiating. Private burial will be Monday in the Center Ridge Cemetery . Visitation is 4:00 p.m. until time of services Friday.
