Olive A. Underwood, 89, of Sullivan died at 7:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2005 in the Highlife Adult Care Center at Clarksville . She was born October 28, 1915 in Coalmont to Raymond Bemis and Elizabeth Berger Bemis. She was a former co-owner of the U.S. Cafe in Sullivan and a former chief cook at Tindall's Restaurant. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Vernon Jennings, her second husband Charles Underwood, her parents and one grandson Charles Cory Haworth.

Survivors include one daughter Dixie Haworth and her husband Chuck of Floyd Knobs, one sister Beaulah McCulloch of Worthington , four grandchildren Joseph Tod Exline, Mindy Lee Gouge, Kerry Haworth and Karly Haworth, five great grandchildren and other relatives.

Services were 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dale Wise officiated. Burial was in the Westlawn Cemetery at Farmersburg. Pallbearers were Alan Gouge, Orbrey Phipps, Joe Exline, R.W. Ragland, Paul Ray and Terry McCulloch.
