Leo Everett Wright, 90, of Sullivan died at 12:57 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2005 in the Sullivan County Community Hospital . He was born September 11, 1915 in Sullivan County to Lloyd Wright and Clara Dickey Wright. He was a farmer and a U.S. Air Force veteran of WWII. He was a sixty year member of the Sullivan American Legion Post. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers Gilbert Wright, Charley Wright, Guy Wright, Clem Wright, Henry Wright and Robert Wright and four sisters Iva Ammerman, Vera Kennedy, Veneda Harnden and Wanda Wright.
Survivors include his wife of sixty six years Eula Nixon Wright of Sullivan whom he married July 12, 1939, one daughter Pat Kinnett and her husband Larry of Sullivan, one brother Emmett Wright of Washington, four grandchildren Scott Kinnett and wife Stephanie, Jeff Kinnett and wife Molly, Bryan Kinnett and wife Amy and Lisa Chastain and husband Rick and other relatives.
Services were at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Nick Moore officiated. Burial with military graveside rites by the Sullivan and Shelburn American Legion Posts was in the Center Ridge Cemetery . Pallbearers were Scott Kinnett, Jeff Kinnett, Bryan Kinnett and Rick Chastain.
